Basque Cider & Idiazabal Cheese
Cheese Tour: Guided visit to a traditional farmhouse to taste the Idiazabal cheese. This delicious cheese is 100% made with raw milk of Latxa sheep, a native breed. It is one of the best-known local products and it is covered under the Idiazabal Protected Designation of Origin.
Sagardotegia (cider house): Guided visit to understand the contemporary method of producing cider, straight from the barrel cider tasting, and a traditional dinner. Discover the “txotx”!
Full day route: Starts at 3:00pm and finishes around 11:00pm (8 hours).

Basque Cider Dinner
To start the evening, we visit a cider museum to discover the roots of this ancient drink and taste unfermented apple juice, 2 different types of cider, and finally an apple liqueur.
Sagardotegia (cider house): A guided visit to understand the modern method of producing cider, 2 pintxos, cider tasting from the bottle, cider tasting straight from the barrel and a traditional dinner to discover the “txotx”!
1/2 Day route: Starts at 6:00pm and finishes around 11:00pm (5 hours).
